Hi! My name is erin.

I am the founder of Origami Salon in Richland, WA

My journey into the hair industry began in 2001. I was approached by a complete stranger while out shopping, to be a hair model. This introduction to the world of hair sparked a fire that continues to grow, and that stranger became a lifelong friend as well!

Through the years, I have continued to grow in many different avenues in the hair industry.

After beginning my work alongside the company Aveda, I assumed the title In Salon Coach, Certified Color Educator, and was gifted the opportunity to work at the Aveda International Show twice!

Owning a salon is a huge gift. I love our team, our guests, and what we represent.

Tamara

Tamara began her professional career as a hairstylist over thirty years ago in Chicago, under the mentorship of Rusk educator, Allen Roberts. After returning to her Tri-Cities' roots, Tamara's love for Aveda products and ethos sprouted while working at an Aveda Salon. She has worked with Aveda products for over 25 years and has attended numerous advanced education classes and events to further her skills and explore new trends.

Tamara loves the creative opportunities that being a hairstylist provides. While coloring and short hairstyles are her specialty, she loves to bring any of her guest's styling wishes to reality.

Tamara is greatly appreciative that, throughout her career, she has been able to meet incredible people who inspire her both professionally and personally. She looks forward to the opportunity to brighten her guest's days at each appointment.

Malitany

Malitany became a hairdresser in 2016 and hasn't looked back. Each moment meeting a new guest or sharing a laugh behind the chair with those she loves is something she treasures. She is never one to turn down an adventure and can usually be found flying to a new country or somewehre in the sunshine on her paddle board.

Alex

Hey! I'm Alex. I started my salon journey in the mountains of Jackson Hole before returning home to Tri Cities. I love to read, collect vinyls, be outdoors, and above all else, I absolutely love getting to know new people. I'm so happy and excited to be at Origami. Let's make those hair dreams come true right quick! Yee haw.

My favorite looks to create mimic the way the sun naturally lightens the hair! I love the precision that hair cutting requires. When I'm not behind the chair, I love traveling with my husband Rudy, finding new music/making playlists, singing and enjoying the outdoors!
